SHARING THE HOPE OF GLORY THROUGH PREACHING

Every knee shall bow and tongue confess — that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Scriptures tell us to exhort one another daily, so long as it is called "Today." Another "Day" is coming soon; indeed, we can clearly see it approaching. In that day it will be too late to give heed to the exhortations found in the Word of God, and to gain the recompense of the reward that depends upon the heed given to them. In Matthew 6:33, we are instructed to "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness." In order to do that believers need to be taught the knowledge of God. The book of Isaiah tells us how this occurs. Isa 28:9-10, "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" (KJV). The Scriptures speak of many things that God has prepared for them that love Him—things which are in the nature of rewards, not gifts, and are quite distinct from forgiveness of sins and from the salvation of ones spirit. It is the intent of this website to provide recorded messages of great Bible teachers that can help each one of us realize the prayer of Paul for the Thessalonians in 1 Thess 5:23, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ," (KJV).

In any study of the Scriptures, one must first start with the fact that Scripture, the inspired Word of God, is inerrant and true.  Inerrant means that it is free from error.  It cannot contradict itself.  If one part of it is not true, then none of it can be trusted; and one must discard all of it.

In Psalm 12:6, David tells us, “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”  If God, in all His wisdom thought about every word seven times, how many times should we think about each word?  For any study in the scriptures, one must study the text carefully and build line upon line.  Any text out of context is nothing but a pretext, and the context is Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.
